To receive notifications from The Local app, you need to set the notifications in two places, within the app and for your device.
1. In the app:
Go to the User Account tab and select Notifications.
Choose the country you wish to receive notification from and choose the type of notifications you are interested in.
You can select to receive notifications from more than one country.
